To Whom It May Concern:
It’s that time of year again! For me, this is one of the highlights. To see the excitement on the faces of our students as we help train them to maximize their God-given potential. The Southern Plain Junior Convention is a rewarding time for the students as well as principals, teachers, parents, pastors and volunteers.
Here at the Southern Plains Junior Convention everyone is a winner. SPJC wants to help each child, gain self-confidence so they can learn to give their best for Christ. We do this by rewarding each student’s effort by grading in three categories, Quality, Excellent and Superior. The only events that will be placed 1st through 6th are Bible Memory, Spelling, Checkers, Chess and all athletic events. Students can enter up to 12 events this year. Please have your students enter events other than athletics. Remember dress code is a very important part of the training process. These requirements can be found in the International Student Convention Guidelines.
This year convention takes place at the Mt Lebanon November 3-6, 2009.
The cost for each student is $125.00 with school pay $50.00 registration fee.
